The second weave I finished using the sari silk is also a bit wonky. I didn't try to plan too much until I was in the middle of the warp, so it has a raggedy ann patchwork design... but oh, that vintage silk fabric! It is thick and rich with a slight shine to it and the second skein I used was full of incredibly bold colors. Little Moroccan sequins peek out from below it all to add another level of sparkle.
