Today we celebrate the work of Modern Day Hero Dr. Amy Zhang. As an anesthesiologist, she helps keep patients safe- whether that's keeping them alive and comfortable during surgery, obtaining emergency airway access, resuscitating trauma patients, or providing care to ICU patients. She has been living apart from her family, who are sheltering in place, to protect them from COVID-19 exposure. ⠀
