After launching from Hawaii in June, @TheVortexSwim crew have reached the Great Pacific Garbage Patch with Ben swimming over 125 hours already. Contrary to the myth, there is no floating island of garbage. Instead, Ben and the crew are finding a smog of microplastics hiding under the surface. ⠀
