Recap day from @thelifeofrileynz take over week. If you haven't watched this clip yet you must. This was one of my favourite shark encounters of all time. A stunning day, from frost to hot, calm seas, layered up, catching tuna then hand feeding an apex predator that's larger, faster, and far more capable than you are, suffice to say this was a HUMAN : NATURE day.
I opened my #icebreaker takeover with this clip because sharks are my area of scientific research. They are a great catalyst and draw card for public awareness of wider ocean issues and that is where my passion lies. I align my specialty of sharks like this, but not only to these issues. I align it to corporate issues, to educational hurdles, to conservation struggles and to tourism opportunities. All in all the recipe is the same. It's the same one that drew me to @icebreakernz
Nature is awesome. It deserves respect. It must be valued to enable its protection. So let's place value on it through utilisation.
I've never been more comfortable in body and mind, than while wearing a sheep's wool on my skin. I'm proud to say why, as the more people who also value it, will enable protection of the land, the water and the grass these animals eat and live on, along with the people, industry and commerce involved.
The best business is sustainable business.
That's why HUMAN : NATURE is such a great tag line
