We love the loyal sheepdogs that work hard herding the flocks at our high country sheep stations. New Zealand actually has a statue in Canterbury honoring a #sheepdog named Friday who was owned by James Mackenzie, a notorious sheep thief who was imprisoned for stealing 1000 sheep in 1855. After authorities captured Mackenzie, they had trouble rounding up all of his sheep because Friday had continued herding them. What a true testament to the loyalty of man's best friend.
