AND WE'RE HURTING || The catastrophic fires across our country and close to our home town in Byron has reminded us how fragile our environment seems at this time and of the importance of standing together as a community, especially when times are tough.⠀

Members of our team have been affected, friends of ours have been evacuated and we know others have lost their homes, their possessions and even their lives. The smoke in the air is heavy; our hearts are heavy. ⠀

These fires have had far reaching consequences for so many involved, and for that, our hearts go out to everyone affected. ⠀
⠀
In times of great uncertainty it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, powerless and also angry. ⠀
⠀
But we know that there is power in numbers and many small contributions can make a big impact.⠀
⠀
That’s why on behalf of our company and you, our incredible community, we’ve donated $1000 to WIRES, a not for profit group dedicated to rescuing wildlife. ⠀
⠀
Estimations predict that around 400 koalas have perished in these fires and we know many others are suffering too. ⠀
⠀
It’s not yet summer and our backyard is on fire. ⠀
⠀
Change needs to come and it needs to come faster. ⠀We call on our PM to take immediate action and meet with emergency leaders including former Fire Chief Greg Mullins.

It’s the grassroots who are taking the lead here: men, women, Mums, Dads, teachers, coaches, CEOs, small businesses, you. ⠀
