SUSTAINABILITY || We’re so grateful for our incredible community (that’s you!) who are just as passionate about the planet and your health as we are.
So, it’s important to recognise what we are currently doing for sustainability so that we continue to offer not only you the highest quality products we can find - but also protect our environment to the best of our ability.
Whilst we do recognise that using plastic (even though it’s fully recyclable and is not single-use) is not ideal; there were many reasons we needed to choose this option in the beginning.
The intention has always been to shift to compostable/biodegradable packaging - and we’re nearly there! It’s taken us a year to find the right suppliers - we have tested over 6 different manufacturers and we’ve had to learn a lot along the way.
Getting a super high quality food product into compostable packaging is truly not easy (if it was, we would have done it a long time ago) and there’s been soooo many hoops to jump through.
But! Here we are!
Just so you know as a brief overview: 🙌 all packages are sent using 100% compostable packaging 🙌 our courier company we use to send your packages is 100% carbon neural (say what!!!)
🙌 we don’t use bubble wrap
🙌 our range is created in Byron and made within 120 km of our warehouse 🙌 we’ve removed the plastic scoops from the jars to reduce our plastic use.....

It’s a million small steps which matter and we’re committed to doing everything in our power to reduce our footprint and continually run internal audits every quarter.
