So over the weekend I told our story to our community in Byron and it really made me reflect again to how we all started from incredibly humble beginnings.
The pace is life is so fast now; and it’s not often I get to really stop and remember those days 5 years ago when I would set my alarm for 2am to bottle our elixirs before my daughters would wake at 5.
When I would hand deliver our products out of the back of my van from a milk crate, with one daughter strapped to my chest in the ergo and another on my back.
Those days when I didn’t have an iPhone and had no clue what Instagram was.
Where I was given cheque’s for my drinks that I needed to then drive across town to go to the bank to deposit.
Those days when my hands would literally bleed from screw closing a hundred lids on bottles.
Those days when I’d lug 20kg boxes around the farmers markets at 4am in the blustery winds on a Sunday morning when I’d rather be snuggled in bed.
Those days when I was told to give up on this crazy dream and do something normal with my life.
Those days when it was harder to keep going than to stop.
Those days from very humble beginnings, brewing probiotics in my kitchen between feeding my young daughters and dreaming of my future.
My future where I felt really good again.
My future where I felt confident again.
My future where my hair grew again.
My future where my tummy didn’t hurt all the time.
My future where I felt truly nourished.
I’d love to share a little more of our story with you.
