while you may see me smile & laugh & be happy, it is a mask that I put on each morning (and some really good antidepressants 😋). as many of you know, for over 8 years I have lived with a rare chronic pain illness, CRPS. living in pain 24/7 takes a toll on a person, especially their mental state. there have been multiple times where I have wanted to end the pain, where living just didn’t seem worth it. but I decided to keep fighting. I couldn’t bare to think what it would do to the people who loved me, my family, and I wanted to prove to myself that I could still have the life I dreamed about as a little girl. and I have! while I may still struggle with my depression at times and still live in pain, I am so glad I didn’t give in. If you are questioning whether to continue living or not, I am here to tell you, it gets better! Don’t give up yet, keep fighting, it is worth it! Put a ; instead of a . and continue your story. 💕
