In 1966, Dr Townsend Hopkins founded Eagle Pharmaceuticals as the first ever practitioner-only company in Australia.
Then, in 1976, the pioneer of Australia’s tea tree industry received his crown lease approval on a very important Thursday, that would mark the start of Thursday Plantation.
Finally, in 1986, Kerry Bone, co-founded MediHerb, after developing a unique extraction method for herbal liquids that would guarantee validation of species and plant parts while preserving the full phytochemical spectrum of the herb.
