"Getting started in anything is the only important thing, the only thing that matters. I wasted so much time waiting for everything to be perfect, comparing my photos to others, thinking they aren’t as good, thinking I can’t post anything until everything is ‘just right’. Editing, re-editing, re-shooting, and re-editing. Over and over, and over again. I just kept looking and comparing, and watching Youtube and waiting, and watching more content to try to improve everything. And that’s great and all, and I learnt a lot, but it gets to a point where you really know enough to start, but you just keep watching because ‘oh I just need to get a little better at that one thing before I can put something out’ STOP. FORGET THAT! So for those that are afraid to start, if you think you know only half of what you need to know to get going, then trust me, you already know more than enough. You just gotta put yourself out there! Nobody’s perfect. Nothing’s ever gonna be perfect. One day I realised that we all have to start somewhere. It’s a marathon not a sprint they always say; so one day I realised, I just had to start.
There is no overnight success. It takes time. Everything happens for a reason. Everything happens when you. Just. Start. " 🙌🏻✍🏻🖤
