I walked into our office bathroom and cried. My team was downstairs prepping for the day & I had just hung up the phone with my husband to tell him we did it. We met our goal for this year & I was finally able to do something I haven't been able to do in almost 9 years....I was able to give myself a raise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It's no secret that this year has been hard on small businesses. My team and I have pivoted so many times to make the best out of this year. We've made so many changes it's hard to keep up with sometimes & we've all taken on tasks and roles that aren't usually on our to-do lists. Those tears yesterday had so much meaning behind them. They were happy tears for reaching a goal I've only dreamed of achieving & for finally being able to give my team the bonuses they immensely deserve! Tears of gratefulness to our community for showing up for us & supporting us when we needed you the most. Tears of exhaustion from grinding through the past 10 months. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
