This guy right here ❤️He didn't necessarily sign up for the #boutiqueboss life but he's been there for me through almost every milestone. We met shortly after I started this journey & he's been with me through all the ups and downs, gives me all the tough love when I need it, & is our VP whether he likes that title or not 😜⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I get asked a lot how we do this -- how do we both have demanding jobs & still make time for our family. The truth is, we are both career driven people & sometimes it's a REAL struggle. Nathan's currently working on a dual masters degree for defense engineering & technology with a concentration in expeditionary warfare (say that 6 times 😂) while still working a full-time job. I'm also in the beginning stages of growing & expanding this business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's NEVER perfect and I've had to accept that's okay. Some days we are really hands-on parents, others we're offering Emmett the iPad for a bit, & some of my favorite ones are when I get to see my family helping me with the business. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This weekend, Nathan took Emmett to the new Jasper store while he started ripping up the flooring. I walked down to bring them lunch & as I was walking up I took a moment to take it all in. I saw a father & son working together to support their wife & mother's dream. It was a beautiful moment seeing Emmett pass Nathan tools & running around in his mom's store.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This truly is a family business and my little legacy & while it's not easy, this guy works hard to make sure I'm able to pursue this dream of mine.
