It's been a rough 36 hours here at the Durcholz household 😬Between rushing Emmett to the ER to get his first set of stitches, our dishwasher breaking, & my trusty coffee maker quitting on me when I needed it the most 😭today was a MUCH needed rest day at home!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I never embraced my maternity leave with Emmett. I found myself rushing to get back to the "old" me. I wanted to get back to work, get back to working out, anything that was part of my old routine I wanted back. After Emmett was a few months old, I instantly regretted not embracing that time more because it goes by so quickly.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I didn't want to regret it again this time, so I'm trying to fully embrace my days at home. I don't change out of my pajamas some days, Jo and I snuggle A LOT, and while I do try and get an hour or two of work done a day, it's not my main priority ❤️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
