"Sometimes I feel like a fraud." My friend Alisha stared back at me, a mix of confusion and disbelief on her face. This thought had dug its way into my head & when I sat with Alisha for our work/coffee/discuss everything meeting, it just came out 🙊⠀ ⠀ I didn't mean a fraud like I'm deceiving others -- I mean for myself. A few months ago I went to market & I had the most inspiring, refreshing trip. I only bought what tugged at my heart-- what I could stand by for quality, price, and style.⠀ ⠀ For years I feel like I went through a change of buying for others instead of buying for what I believed in. I stopped doing that at that market, and it's been a game changer for my business. I made a vow that day for myself and you. ✨⠀ ⠀ I will never carry another product I don't stand behind or won't personally wear. I'm never going to buy something with money in mind, it will be with my passion in mind.⠀ ⠀ I feel this fire in my gut and heart. I love fashion. But, when I buy for the masses instead of buying for what I'm passionate about, I get lost. I lose that passion and that WHY for my business. That feeling makes me feel like a fraud, like a fake, and I will never feel that way again.⠀ ⠀ Can I get a double tap for an amen? 🙌🏼 When you feel like you lose your passion, what do you do to get it back? Comment below and let me know!
