This past Friday, this girl right here called me out on my BS and for majorly overreacting. I cried on the phone to her telling her I didn't recognize myself. My husband told me enough was enough, and I forced myself to take this past weekend off.⠀ ⠀ I took a break from social media. I spent time with my family and got a girls day in with my niece on Sunday. It. Was. Glorious.⠀ ⠀ I've come to realize the amount of stress I'm under isn't healthy. I'm a perfectionist to the core. I want the website to be perfect, the images to be perfect, all the content, perfect. In the wise words of my friend, "It won't be perfect, but it will be done." I'm taking steps to re-structure my business in a way that fits my needs & my family's needs instead of my what business needs from me. I just hired a new Marketing Assistant and I can't wait for everyone to meet her!⠀ ⠀ I don't say this for anyone to feel sympathy for me. I say this to be open that everything in my life is not perfect. I struggle a lot, but I'm so thankful I have loved ones who call me out on my BS to help get me to a better mental & physical place. My people keep me balanced. ⠀ ⠀ What is one thing you're thankful for that your loved ones give to you? 🖤
