A few months ago, everything in my life was stable. I knew exactly what I wanted, where I wanted to be, and what my next day would be like. Then, life hit me hard and I was sitting in the doctors office, holding my sisters hand, as they told her she had breast cancer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The past few months have been a blur and struggle of doing what my business needs me to do, and doing what my heart needs me to do, and that is be with my family. I worked 12-14 hour days to make up for the days I dedicated to be with my sister and family. While it was tough, I remained strong because that’s what my sister needs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When things were finally looking up, I got a call last week that we lost a beautiful friend, fiery business woman, and someone I very much admired; not only in her marriage, but her passion for her business and community. Tyna and Bert were there every step through my sisters diagnosis, recommending doctors, what she can expect, what we can expect. They have always been there. Everything from the past few months just hit me hard. I hit my limit last week and I had a breakdown...in Walmart. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I started breaking out in hives from stress and having way too many anxiety attacks. I knew my body and mind had enough. So we announced our big announcement this weekend, said goodbye to Tyna in a beautiful Celebration of Life, and my husband whisked me away to our anniversary getaway. We escaped to West Baden in Frenchlick. From massages to facials, wine at noon with amazing food, and laying out by the pool with a good book, we’re getting away to get perspective, rest, and a mental health timeout. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We have another SURPRISE for you guys today so stay tuned! I’m going to try to unplug for today! Love you all!
