What a weekend 😍 we had so much fun spending so much time with family, cleaning off the back patio for some new furniture, and taking some long naps the last few days! It doesn’t get passed me how lucky we are ❤️
Nathan served for the Navy for 5 years & we met right after he got out. He had served in 5 different countries in 5 years, and we talk openly, or at least as much as he can, about what that was like. We talk about how our lives would be different if we lived in another country and how truly blessed we are.
I can’t imagine experiencing what he’s experienced. I can’t imagine taking the ultimate sacrifice for our country as so many fallen soldiers have. I can sit here and give thanks and pray though for those who did.
We truly are so blessed to live in a country like ours. May we never forget that freedom is never free 🙏🏼 ❤️ Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸
