Someone I look up to recently posted about the ebbs & flows and growth of a business. You have the infant stage where it's exhausting, you're making all the mistakes, but it's all fresh & new & exciting. You have the toddler stage where you feel like you're hitting your groove, it's something different every day, but you're enjoying the roller coaster ride ❤️
Then the teenage years come -- and man are they hard 😅 you don't know which way is up, which way is down. You can take paths A, B, C, FHILSJF & not know how much that decision is going to affect the outcome you want. It's scary, and exciting, and sometimes, lonely. You have all these questions, but no answers.
I feel like we've officially hit our teenage years as a business (yikes, wish me luck, right?) 🤣 on one hand, I haven't been more confident in our brand, in our style, and what we're bringing to the table 🙌
On the other hand, I have so many ideas & inspiration on where to take our business next that I can't decide whether to go left or right & it feels like sometimes you're stuck in a round about 🚗
I know eventually we will get out of the round about & I will see a clear path. I know I'll get all the answers I desire, but it may take some wrong turns to get there. For now, I'm accepting these awkward teenage years we are in & cheering to a wild, wild ride 😆🍷
