My little weekend getaway was an absolute DREAM. It hasn't been easy & I almost cancelled the trip. I've been working very long hours lately, getting home just in time for bed time & snuggles, and I just miss my kids so so much -- but I'm glad I kept that flight 🥰
It's so easy sometimes to say no. No, I don't need the trip. No, I don't need to spend the money. No, it's not the right time. No, I'll wait 'til things calm down a little -- sound like anyone you know? 😉
If I've learned anything from this trip, it's to say yes to more trips. Yes to living right now. Yes to unique experiences. Yes to being a little more selfish with my time.
