You’ll wanna read this one til the end - I promise 😉 It’s been almost 10 years since I placed my first order with a vendor. I was sitting at my tiny (and I mean tiny) NYC kitchen, reviewing line sheets to plan our first quarter. I remember getting just enough shipments in to fill our little 1000 sq ft store in my hometown. I was filled with excitement but so much nervousness wondering if anyone would even show up to our grand opening.
Fast forward to almost 10 years later, and I still woke up this morning with those same mixed feelings. I think that’s the beautiful thing about being a business owner. You never know what to expect, and that unknown is what keeps you pushing to constantly try harder & do better. Not only for yourself, but for the communities who’ve welcomed us with open arms. ❤️
You guys know I keep things real around here, and I can tell you there were more than a few times where you all just made me stop & take everything in today and it brought me to tears. Looking around at all of you smiling and laughing while shopping in-store. Seeing friends catch up or watching you love something so much you choose to wear it out the door. Hearing that little ding on my phone go off from another online order placed knowing you’re helping support someone pay for their school, a single mama, and a girl who is living her absolute dream because of YOU. You are a part of something so special & you deserve to know that 👏
So tonight, I applaud every single one of you who has been there to support us! You guys showed up in an INSANELY big way today & pushed all of my nerves aside. And because you all have been so damn good to me….we’re doing some BIG tomorrow. 😍
