Hands up if you're trying to find JOY in even the most stressful of times 👋 I know these photos look like a girl living her best life (in a real hot mess of a warehouse), but let me be real — this is me nervous laughing while also constantly repeating "it's fine, it's fine, it's going to be fine" 😂
I promised myself that 2022 would be a different year for us & would be nothing like what I've felt in the past 9 months. I've been trying to figure out exactly HOW we are going to do that. The only answer is, more CHANGE. I can't even believe I said those words because, for a girl who's gone through so many changes this last year, the last thing I want is even more 😝
I'm very lucky to have friends who own businesses or are in the industry to lean on and brainstorm ideas with. I was talking to one of my people about the stress of all the roles I'm playing right now — CEO, manager, shipper, receiver, data entry, photographer, e-commerce, marketer, janitor, secretary, the list goes on.
With love & respect, he point-blank said "you just need to say f*** it" 😅 He wasn't wrong either. At some point, the pressure to have the best branding, photography, and website has gotta give. The fact is, I can't keep up with all of this and (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), I don't believe that is why all of you are here supporting this business and all who believe in it ❤
So, changes are coming. Changes that don't focus so much on having the perfect photo or the perfect marketing, but more on YOU, the customer. We'll be able to get new arrivals out to you quicker, have a better return policy, and launch more size-inclusive styles 😍👏
I'm dedicating more time and finances to hire more positions at the office, so we're not constantly running behind. I'm getting back to what I thoroughly love about this business, and that's sharing the fashion, the style, the confidence, and joy it all can bring into your lives just like it does to mine.
It won't happen tomorrow, it may even take a month or two, but we will get there & I know 2022 is going to be our year 🥂
