I like this version of me. I look at this photo and hardly recognize that girl, but the feeling I get from it is exactly how I'm now intentionally choosing to live every day ❤️
I see freedom. I see power. I see progress. I see warmth and light. I see a future version of myself that I am so damn proud of 💪🏼
I've been off of social media for a week & while I've been off the grid I realized all things I'm GIVING UP to get back to that place I've been craving:
— the need for control
— fearing change
— negative self talk
— trying to please everyone
— conforming to others' ideas of success
I didn't realize just how powerful disconnecting could really be until I took that leap. Before, I felt defeated. Now, I realize that I get to choose the narrative. That may mean disconnecting on the weekends to spend valuable time with my family. It may mean going heavy on stories and not getting that perfectly curated photo posted to our grid ✨ and that's OK!
I get to wake up every day & come to a job and company I so passionately and deeply care about — and I get to share all of that with you. How truly amazing is that?! 💓
I have so many exciting changes up our sleeves, you guys. SO. MANY. GOOD. THINGS. 👏🏼👏🏼 I haven't felt this reinvigorated in a really long time so watch out, she's back 🤩
