Itโs the final day of Adaptogens 101 and the part we know many of you have been waiting for: our favorite adaptogens. Thatโs a tough one, as theyโre all quite magical! But first, two important notes:

Adaptogens are a powerful tool to help the body defend against the effects of chronic stress. But alone, they wonโt keep us healthy and strong. Wellness requires attention to our lifestyle, and stress should also be supported with practices such as sufficient sleep, a nourishing diet, quality time with loved ones, meditation and deep breathing.

Regular mild stress is good and necessary โ it strengthens the body against more intense stress. Itโs like the effect of regularly working out: over time, it increases muscle strength and stamina.
But just like you need to work out consistently to stay strong and fit, adaptogens must be used consistently (*and in efficacious doses*) to help the body maintain balance and its defence against stress. In fact, for the millennia that adaptogens have been used, theyโve been used as a daily tonic.
