I believe it's important to stay versatile and active for the sake of health and therapeutic purposes. Vanity is always there but as a distant 3rd. Being healthy and feeling good will accompany for the entirely of my lift but vanity will only serve me superficially for a limited time. As you know, I like to participate in frequent yoga sessions to improve my muscles elasticity, joint mobility, and to help lower my cortisol level. Now I am at my heaviest body weight ever, I feel I have to take my bodies functioning and durability to the next level to cope with my strength increase, wear and tear, and risks of injury. I have no begun my next phase of yoga - Aerial Yoga. Having the amazing Karin Hobbs of @aerialyogaboise personally instruct me through Aerial Yoga is going to bring my body to the next level. I feel an extreme isolation of muscle elongation whilst in suspension so I don't have to worry about balance and stability. The positions, decompression, and flexibility (with my personal focus on the spine, hips, flexors and rotator cuffs) is absolutely amazing. If you do what you've always done, you will get what you've always got. Use your body and brain to tolerate, create and annihilate, don't imitate.
I'll obviously have to ask Karin, the owner of @aerialyogaboise if it's okay to film there, but if you are interested in this, would you like to see a future video of this? #aerialyoga #stretch #namaste #relax #cortisolcontrol #1health2therapy3vanity #loa
