Global net human-caused emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) are at an alarming rate - and are accelerating climate. Scientists @theclimatecouncil urge us to go carbon neutral by 2030 and carbon absorbing by 2045 to avoid a global catastrophe.
300 BILLION tons of carbon are stored in the Earth's forest, which helps control climate by regulating atmospheric gases, stabilising rainfall, and protecting against desertification.
