ENDANGERED, In light of World Environment Day on June 5, in many ways the belief of positive reform in climate action and equal rights are linked, so much vital reform is needed. We humans have managed to see off as much as 60% of the world’s mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians while placing one million plant and animal species under threat of extinction. Through the impact of human activities we have killed half the worlds coral reefs, cleared half the worlds tropical forests, polluted oceans, shrunk the Arctic ice, caused droughts, heatwaves, desertification, fires, floodings and storms along with water and food shortages on an unprecedented scale.
SOLUTION?
Global Cooperation to create a world where almost all our energy requirements come from renewable sources, where 900 million hectares of land reforested, single-use plastics banned,depleted topsoils restored, regenerative farming practiced, a world where coral farming returns damaged reefs closer to their original state, where every building has a rooftop solar panel, a rainwater tank and a vegetable or flower garden.
