The trees in a forest care for each other, sometimes going so far as to nourish the stump of a felled tree for centuries after it was cut down by feeding it sugars and other nutrients to keep it alive. The reason trees share food and nutrients is that they need each other. A healthy thriving forest is one in which all biodiverse species thrive.
We have so much to learn from nature.
Yet it is estimated in 100 years there will be no rainforests on the planet at the current rate of deforestation -
