Textile production contributes more to climate change than international aviation and shipping combined!
And yet @upparelofficial estimate 87% of all disposed textiles are sent to landfill or incinerated. Less than 1% currently is chemically recycled back into reusable raw materials!
It is sad to see this level of fashion waste, yet there lies piles of opportunities to create desirable solutions for our wardrobes rather than piles of textiles waste in landfill.
We are only creating new denim from discarded denim, the latest styles we’re sourcing for🙏🏻. No farming, water, dye, weaving, or freight, just REGENERATING what already exists
