Believe me, I see it all the time. I know just how destructive the cycle of wanting to feel better about yourself and your body can be. ⠀ Some call the cycle yo-yo dieting.⠀ Some call it restrictive eating.⠀ Others try hate therapy - meaning they force themselves into doing something because they hate how they look, their body or how they feel.⠀ ⠀ Enter me into your life.⠀ ⠀ My experience with wanting more for myself led me through all the above. And without it, I wouldn’t understand you and the struggles you have had or currently are facing.⠀ ⠀ Let me alleviate some of the burden you are carrying.⠀ ⠀ First, I want you to know - you are not alone, we all have struggles. I just choose to openly share about mine with the hopes that you don’t feel alone and silenced with yours. We all have thoughts that we are not good enough. But we can neutralize them to gain a better perspective.⠀ ⠀ Second, you are needed in this world. We were not made to all be the same - that would be b-o-r-i-n-g! You were intentionally designed to have flaws. And whatever those “flaws” are, do not determine how worthy of a person you are.⠀ ⠀ Did you know my stomach is my BIGGEST insecurity with my body. I felt like my body was fat, frumpy and unattractive and feared others would think the same.⠀ ⠀ I’ve learned how to face those fears head on. It controlled my thoughts and feelings for far too long. To this day when I’m getting dressed my eyes go right to my belly area to see how “bad” my love handles show or if my stomach is pouring over my pants/shorts. But now I know how to handle those thoughts so they no longer control me. ⠀ ⠀ So why the heck would I expose my biggest insecurity here to the world?⠀ ⠀ Because it gives me perspective - for myself. The expectation I had for my body was totally unrealistic. Magazines, television and social media will do that. I'm showing up as the real, not retouched version of me.⠀ ⠀ And lastly, I would love to know more about what you need and how I can specifically help you to feel better about yourself. Like seriously, I’m here to relieve the pressure in your life, so tell me how can I help you?
