Don’t let your insecurities keep you from living your life ☝️

Yesterday I went up to whistler wearing very short overalls and a one piece swimsuit that showed quiet a bit of my bum under it. My thighs were rubbing together all day and it was just so uncomfortable. You could see my cellulite hanging out from my shorts. Everyone around me was “conventionally beautiful and thin!” I felt they were all starring at me for being the FAT GIRL WHO SHOULDN’T BE THEIR WEARING SHORT SHORTS. Looking back that’s probably all made up in my own mind, wrapped up in many levels of negative self talk, insecurities and a lifetime of being told I need to be thin to be beautiful. .
.
The important point isn’t how I felt it’s what I did! I still wore those overalls out because I love them! I still went swimming at the beach and strutted around in my swimsuit, I still held my head high with confidence. Many of us have these insecure thoughts all the time and it’s important to acknowledge them and then tell them to F OFF bc you still need to live your life and you weight shouldn’t determine that. You shouldn’t have to miss out on going to the beach or wearing shorts or tees because your insecure. We’re all beautiful just the way we are and it’s time we start embracing the bodies we have now, not the bodies we’re told we need to be considered beautiful!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
