"I felt my absolute sexiest; most confident when I was pregnant and then
the second I birthed my babies I felt like a lost a big part of me.
It took me a very very long time to accept, appreciate and rediscover who I was after creating my two little humans.
I never could quite comprehend what I was looking at in the mirror postpartum.
There was a weird kind of hurt, a hurt combined with guilt and shame. Guilt that I couldn't find the love for the body I was looking at and shame for the fact that while it created two little miracles I somehow felt pressured to accept what I looked like.
It's clear I've come a far way, a hard and difficult journey at finding ME. A path that included not just feeling sexy and confident on the outside but actually feeling those feels on the inside.
I no longer feel ashamed of what I see in the mirror, instead I feel empowered at what I've been able to do... What my body has done!
My sexiest, my confidence are now felt and not just seen. I no longer feel guilt or shame or feel the need to validate what or who I am when I see me in the mirror.
Self love is such a powerful thing!"
