"This is my life not after birth. I chose not to have children, a choice that I've always been sure of, but that also carries the heavy assumption that I'm selfish because of it.
I chose not to give birth, but that choice doesn't define me. It doesn't mean my life isn't filled with love and giving. I'm a caring partner to my husband, a doting aunt to my two nieces, a friend, a daughter, a sister and a mentor. I host networking groups connecting women in business, and have built a brand whose sole purpose is to help other people find self love and happiness in their own lives.
And although my choice doesn't define me, it is one of the things I find most beautiful about being a woman - that I can have the greatest respect and admiration for mothers without ever wanting to be one myself."
