"This is literally my life. I feel like a milk machine. I am lucky to be able to provide for my son in this way but it isn’t easy. It takes a lot of work and a ton of will power. I am constantly talking myself into continuing and trying to just focus on doing my best for as long as I can. I’ve had to let go of what I thought breastfeeding would look like with my son and accept that this is what is working. It’s had its ups and downs and I’ve had to do a lot of trial and error. So much stress of losing my supply and all the work of building it back up. Being okay with using formula along the way and letting go of all that unnecessary and unhelpful mom guilt. It’s been so freaking hard and I’ve cried so many times but here’s to 3 months of pumping."
