"At 19 weeks pregnant, the doctors discovered a 10cm cyst on my left ovary and I went into emergency surgery to have the cyst removed. When I woke up I had staples up my pregnant belly to above my belly button. I knew that I needed to make peace with my scar. A woman's body is truly a gift and I am grateful to be in this one."
