“My husband just passed away 4 weeks ago. He lived life to the fullest and was surfing just before he died. I’ve always been scared of learning to surf because I’m not coordinated and afraid of everything I cannot see underwater in the ocean. I turn 50 in May and I’ve decided I'm not going to live my life scared to do things anymore. My husband told me every single day how beautiful and strong I am, but it was always hard to see that in myself. I’m not wasting another minute of my life doubting my inner strength. I’ll be taking a trip to learn to surf to honour my husband and his adventurous spirit that continues to live through me. I’ll definitely be wearing my Knix Swimwear.”
