More exciting news from team Knix, The Life After Birth Project (@lifeafterbirthproject) is being turned into a book!
For those new followers of ours, The Life After Birth Project is our one-of-a-kind traveling exhibit that celebrates the raw beauty and strength of the postpartum experience. It features submissions from over 700 women. We have brought our gallery to New York, Toronto, Los Angeles and Vancouver.
Today, we are thrilled to announce that the gallery is coming directly to you—in the form of a not-for-profit book that will hit the shelves in the Spring of 2021!
This is where you come in. From the beginning of this project we’ve said that “Postpartum Is Forever” and we’re looking for more stories and photos that really demonstrate that. What was your postpartum experience like, and how has it changed since you gave birth? We’re looking to fill some gaps in our storytelling, so if you have an amazing image or experience that goes a little beyond your time directly post-birth or with breastfeeding we would love to hear from you! Are you interested in taking part? Please send in a photo that shows us part of your journey. Photos must be (minimum) 12 x 18 inches at 300dpi, in a .jpeg or .tif file format and can be sent to: casting@knix.com.
Please get your submissions in by Monday, April 13th so we can go through them and reach back out to each of you.
