"Getting confidence is hard and I’m still learning to do so. I think that the first step is getting out of your comfort zone and find something that will empower you, so that’s what I did.
I always loved photography and everything that touches art. When I came across this amazing work, I knew. I knew that I found what I wanted. The day of the shooting, I felt in a safe space and worked with wonderful people.
I went in the middle of the beautiful set-up naked and did it. Never in my life I thought I would do something like this and I loved it. I felt so beautiful between the tiny vases and flowers. I felt empowered and like my fat body was a piece of art. That is the feeling that I am looking for in my everyday life since then. To feel beautiful, fat, empowered and happy because that’s what I am."
