This year, International Women’s Day is a little different for me. As you’re reading this, I’m actually in the middle of delivering twin girls (Great timing, I know!)
I’m so excited to bring two daughters into this world. It’s a world where girls have more opportunities than ever before, and they’ll have more freedom to be exactly who they want to be. But there’s still a long way to go.
My promise to you is now a promise I’ll make to my own little girls:
We need to support each other 365 days of the year, not just one.
We will never stop challenging norms and using our voice to facilitate important conversations.
Representation matters, and we have to champion womxn of all ages, races, and identities.
We will continue to celebrate that there is so much more to us than just our physical appearance
