"I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect my body to look like it just gave birth 1.5 years after it did.
But that is the reality.
You know what else is a reality?
Being loved by a partner fully.
Being completely present with my children.
Summer vacations on the horizon.
A career.
Fulfilling friendships.
Loving family.
A nourished body.
Movement that feels good for the soul.
Healing.
Rest.
Reflection.
and Joy.
My whole life it felt like my body was to be a certain way as a prerequisite to these realities.
And yeah, trusting your body can be hard.
Especially after it changes.
It’s hard because “letting it do it’s thing” only feels comfortable when it’s doing what we want it to.
But trust doesn’t mean obedience.
Trust means trusting into the unknown.
Into that change.
Or lack of change.
The discomfort of not knowing.
Ebbing and flowing.
It’s a partnership.
Showing up IN love.
Even when you don’t feel loving feelings.
It is, a beautiful existence in reality."
