"Details of the ordinary extraordinary.
I remember all the judgements to myself if I got a new stretchmark on my butt, punishing myself if I got a couple extra kilos that got reflected on the inside of my legs, feeling insecure in my new shorts even though I had a nice figure.
Pregnancy is teaching me to forgive myself and to love myself in a body that will inevitably change as life goes on. I am proud of it and enjoy the changes with amusement. I spend a lot of time every morning in front of the mirror, admiring the curve of the belly and discovering new chubby parts. I never took the time before to be so thankful to my own body and respect it so much.
Whoever needs to read this today: be good to yourself, girl, you're beautiful!"
