But as the excitement wears away, tucked away in its moment in time, my mind wanders to thinking of the body I once had before this.
That doesn’t make me anything but human.
To know that now is the time to let go of, grieve and thank that body, then process and honour and truly enjoy this new one.
My body.
That still and forever holds this power.”
