Drawing on the collective stories of everyday people and notable celebrities including Amy Schumer, Rocky Barnes, Gabrielle Union-Wade, Bozoma Saint John, Shanola Hampton and more. In addition, it includes a special forward from Knix Global Brand Ambassador, @ashleygraham.
Available for purchase on our website (and everywhere fine books are sold), 100% of Knix and @carriagehousebirth’s proceeds will be donated to The Black Women’s Health Imperative (@blkwomenshealth) to support the NOURISH program — a Postpartum Doula training program created in partnership with Knix that supports the needs of Black birthing families.
Knix’s Life After Birth Project launched in August 2019 and began as a photo exhibition in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and Vancouver featuring the postpartum images and stories of over 750 birthing people. The project continues to tackle the societal taboos around the birthing experience by celebrating everything that comes with parenthood.
