This might seem like no big deal for some people, but for someone who spent majority of their life trying to hide their body from the world.. it’s f*cking massive for me! 5 years ago, I would have been double filtering photos, scrutinizing my body and picking apart ever image taken of me.. questioning if I looked ‘thin/not fat’ enough to share.
And here I am now.. requesting my body not be photoshopped, my skin not be smoothed and my stretch marks and cellulite being able to be seen, in all their glory!
The journey to self love isn’t an easy one… but damn is it a good one!
