Lash Technicians, please replace your adhesive every 30 days! 🙏 ~ Your ENTIRE business relies on not just how skillfully you can apply lashes, but how long they last! ~ Understand that “throwing away” adhesive after 30 days is not being wasteful, it’s protecting your business. 💡 ~ Adhesive shelf life is 90 days unopened (when stored correctly) from manufacture but it’s difficult to know the true age of your adhesive by the time it reaches you so why would you push it when the consequences are so high? đŸ€” ~ You might think squeezing an extra 2 weeks worth of clients out of your bottle of adhesive is “saving” you money, but in reality it’s most likely costing you money. ~ Having to do even 1 week of free refills because your adhesive was expired or not at full strength could be an eye watering expense even for a part time stylist. ~ Now factor in the cost of lost income from not being able to see new clients, product, lost clients, not to mention the potential damage to your businesses reputation & the cost could become painfully high.đŸ˜© ~ Can’t afford fresh adhesive every month? Simply putting your prices up 5% would ensure you always had enough surplus to stock fresh adhesive. Clients won’t mind a tiny price rise if it means their lashes last longer. 😉 ~ Of course we know Lash retention is a 50/50 relationship between you and your client, but are you doing YOUR part? ~ Don’t be fooled thinking that just because a client hasn’t told you their lashes didn’t last that it isn’t happening. Most are just too polite to say anything but it’s safe to say you’re unlikely to see them again. 😔 ~ Believe us when we say it’s A LOT more expensive to acquire a new client than simply replacing a bottle of glue every 30 days to keep one! ~ If you have a poor rebook rate on new clients or if you’ve had regular clients drop off with no explanation, this could be why. ~ Lastly, think of your adhesive as not just creating a bond between the extension and the lash, but also creating a bond between your business and your client... so make sure that bond is as strong as possible! đŸ’Ș😍 ~ For more info on retention visit the Blog page at LashJoy via our bio link ❀ #lashjoylashfacts
