Even as a Lash Professional who believes in looking after their clients lash health, you’re still going to encounter clients who want to push the boundaries by asking you to apply extensions that you know will damage their natural lashes, be very hard to maintain, look unflattering (or all of the above)😩😩 ~ This could be overextending beyond what their lashes can handle or perhaps asking for the least flattering lash style for their eye shape. ~ You’ve been in this situation before, listening to the client tell you what she wants and you’re thinking to yourself “there’s no way in hell thats going to look good for this client but I don’t know what to say.” ~ Unfortunately in this case the customer is not always right & as Lash Professionals you need to pre-prepare your answers for when you get asked to apply lashes that you know aren’t appropriate for that client. ~ Simply saying “NO” is only going to annoy them, you need to EDUCATE them with WHY it’s not suitable and help them understand why what you’ve recommended is going to be more suitable and better enhance their appearance. ~ So take the time to write out and rehearse your responses if need be so you’re never caught off guard with what to say. 💯 ~ If you explain to a client that what she wants is damaging to her natural lashes and you provide her with more suitable alternatives but she still isn’t happy, it’s best to (nicely) let that client know you don’t think you’re the right stylist for her and that she should try another salon/technician who is more flexible and less concerned with client lash health. ~ Advice: stay strong, be prepared and don’t get bullied into applying Lashes you’re not completely comfortable with. Your brand is far more important than a single set of lashes.🎯 ~ Remember, not everyone who asks the question “where do you get your lashes done?” Is asking because they want to get theirs done there too... sometimes it’s so they remember NOT to go there! Don’t be that Lash Stylist! 🙏 #lashjoylashfacts #lashlessons #lashtips #lashjoy #joyslashtraining
