@krspaxton MISSISSIPPI.SMALLTOWN.MOM whose life forever changed when a car accident killed a great man, husband & father to 3 small children ages 6,8 & 12. It is still to this day a surreal event looking back...on a Disney vacation one minute & a funeral the next not knowing what kind of future was ahead for us-- Knowing I had the daunting task of caring for 3 young children on my own I developed a longing & deep desire for optimal health. I wanted my 3 children to see in me that we could still live & live fully! Maybe I can say I was even obsessed with health related knowledge. So...yoga entered the picture & changed my life. After my very first yoga class I left feeling inspired mentally, stronger physically & a tiny bit healed emotionally & spiritually. I realized my passion for yoga was a calling & new it was a way in being of service to others. #opportunityknocks & I answered becoming a certified yoga instructor! I have had many inspiring yoga teachers on my path :) Now...on a journey in an advanced 500 hour teacher training program with an amazing teacher #TiffanyCruikshankYoga--#opportunityknocksAGAIN!!!! Studying "Yoga Medicine" furthering my desire to learn about optimal health through yoga- I would have never dreamed during all those years as a single mom that I would now be traveling the world studying yoga! In the last year I have traveled to South Africa, Australia & most recently Thailand!!! All the while collecting life long friends from ALL corners of the world! I am INSPIRED & eternally grateful for every experience & every person that has crossed my path in this journey called yoga...
