It’s important to smile in the face of adversity. Because without it, we lose perspective. As it’s easy to only focus on the circumstances rather than seeing the good that still exists or the good that can be shaped from some of these crushing chapters within our lives.
No matter how relentless or unforgiving the cards that are dealt to us are, we must rise to the occasion and see and act for the better of oneself and the people around us. It’s easier said than done of course. But without it we fall victim to not seeing our true potential or needlessly choose to simply exist rather than live.
