Was being a tomboy part of everyone’s lives or just a handful of us?
I went through this super boy stage in grade 4! I was a little mischievous this year and would be a bit of a smart ass to teachers cause I was hanging with the boys and wanted to be funny. I only wore my brothers clothes and baggy denim jeans.
My mum thought it was absolutely hilarious when I had to wear a tutu for my dance concert. This was my first year of ballet and I only started to better my technique for my other style dance exams. My favourite style was tap dancing!! Followed by contemporary and jazz but ballet seemed SO girly and being in a tutu seemed like my worst nightmare at the time!!!!
Funnily enough ballet ended up being something I loved! I didn’t like the girly aspect OR the leotards and tights but I loved the discipline and how rigid in structure it was!!
Anyway! I’m rambling.. Going back to boy stage surely you guys have had a boy stage too!?
I think it was cool to be sk8er girl Avril Lavigne at one point!
