Recently, a very wise advisor said to me, 'Every leader has doubts and feels like a fraud at times. Surgeons excluded, of course.' The reality is, that while you have much to learn, you are very well trained. And you're part of a team. On a good team, your colleagues will be there for you particularly the nurses, who are so much more experienced than you will be. So be an effective team member. Be humble, be curious, be bold, laugh a lot, enjoy your work, and celebrate your team.
